The upcoming KutchWildlife Atlas app will allow you to identify birds based on their appearance, report sightings and roadkills, and access the entire KutchWildlife databank from anywhere.
Accurate sighting, roadkill, and pugmark reports can help build a more complete idea of different species and the challenges they face. Such information can help create new management policies, roadkill prevention measures, and further research efforts. Sighting reports can be especially helpful for rare animals and vagrants. To protect animals and birds from overenthusiastic photographers, poachers, and other people who may cause them harm, the app will only register the general location and not GPS coordinates.
